Sun-loving Gazanias

Striking Gazanias are also native to Southern Africa and are sometimes called African Daisies. My preference is for the striped versions as those are the flowers I recall from my childhood but this little patch of white and yellow was still delightful. They only open in full sun and that is when they thrive.

African Daisies in the sun

The first sunny morning this week so decided to take a stroll around the block with my camera. Been playing around with the ISO to reduce the noise so was happy to come across these pretty African daisies.

Exploring the neighbourhood

A few flowers had caught my attention on the school run but I was always rushing so had no time to stop and appreciate them.  So I decided to take my camera for a walk and left the kids with my hubby. This is what I found.
