Northern California is getting lots and lots of rain! It’s glorious news for the drought stricken regions even though there is a lot more rain around than I bargained for!
I have been missing the sunny blue skies but the daffodils and muscari in my garden braved the stormy weather and their appearance reminded me of the Spring delights that await.
Hope you enjoy them as much as I did!

Today my blog is three years old!

When I started it I had no idea where this journey would take me. All I knew is that I wanted to share what I cared about. It was an opportunity to document what I see and what moves me.
It is still that today.

Thank you to all my followers who have joined me on this adventure and encouraged me!
May your days be filled with beautiful moments that drive you to live your life with passion!

There is nothing quite like the sight of daffodils in bloom to lift my spirits and make my heart soar! Their delicate yellow heads bowing to greet the day as they dance on their elegant stalks. These lovely specimens are now blooming in my garden – I hope they brighten up your day too!
If these images have moved you, prints can be purchased on FineArtAmerica.
The garden is alive with blooms – the contrasting colours are rather lovely.

The rather rainy weather has brought long awaited relief to the garden and the daffodils seem to be loving it. The full sized daffodils are now also steadily appearing and their sunny shaded petals are adding a splash of colour to the garden.

I recently posted some photos of the miniature daffodils already blooming in the garden and a comment from fellow photography blogger Sophie L then inspired this bit of fun with some of my other flower photos. I have always loved Lewis Carroll’s book Alice in Wonderland and the Disney animated movie was thoroughly enjoyable too. Since I still have some other flower pics I may do a few more! Thanks for the inspiration Sophie!

The daffodils in our garden cannot wait any longer for Spring. The miniatures are bursting with little blooms, although it took some doing getting low down enough to take some pics!
